Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The extensive beer and wine selections consistently receive praise, allowing guests to find a drink that perfectly complements their meal. Visitors love the friendly and efficient staff, who contribute to the warm atmosphere. Live music on weekends is a huge draw, filling the pub with an energetic vibe. Family meals are a highlight for many, especially on Sundays when the homemade desserts, including ice creams, leave everyone raving. The outdoor area is a major hit during warmer weather, offering a relaxing space for gatherings and casual meet-ups.

Most Disliked

Some diners mention that certain menu items can lack clarity, especially breakfast dishes that don't specify inclusions like eggs. Inconsistent cleanliness during peak hours has been noted, but overall, guests find the space modern and well-kept. A few reviews mention the need to pay with cash, as card payments are not accepted, which can be inconvenient for some. While the dinner rush is bustling, some patrons feel that this affects service times, especially on popular nights like quiz night.

Had breakfast today with 2 friends, first class food and service. Just a couple of points though. The menue doesn't state that the breakfast comes with eggs and the teapot could with holding enough water for 2 cups. The restaurant is very clean and modern and the lady at the bar was very polite and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Went for quiz night, so the only food we had was a chip roll (perk of taking part in the quiz). Loads of chips, nicely cooked. Only been in this place a couple of times and its always busy and really nice. Though take cash because no cards accepted.

The food was very tasty and great value for money. The barstaff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Very clean, great size, outdoor area with heating. The gin tree was lovely with a good choice of different flavoured Gordon's Gin. Will definitely return.

We went in for a drink, decided to have a shared ploughman's lunch, wow what a delight. Even brought some home. Very generous portions. Great staff and football on the TV, what more could you ask for 🎃
